KCET 2026 Result Date: Karnataka CET Scorecard Likely by First Week of June

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) is likely to declare the KCET 2026 result either by the end of May or in the first week of June, according to official sources. Students who appeared for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) between April 22 and April 24 can check their scorecards on the official websites — cetonline.karnataka.gov.in and karresults.nic.in.

KEA released the provisional answer key for the KCET 2026 exam on April 27. The authority also opened an objection window for students who wanted to challenge the provisional answer key. The objection window stayed open until April 30. The final answer key will be released soon, followed by the result.

KCET 2026 Result: How to Check your Scorecard

Once declared, students can follow these simple steps to check their KCET 2026 result:

  1. Visit the official website — cetonline.karnataka.gov.in or karresults.nic.in.
  2. Click on the "UGCET Results 2026" link on the homepage.
  3. Enter your login details — registration number and the first four letters of your name.
  4. Click on submit.
  5. Your KCET 2026 scorecard will appear on the screen.
  6. Download it and save a copy for future reference.

Along with the KCET 2026 result, KEA will also release the merit list and cut-off marks for 2026. This year, around 3,30,479 students registered for the exam. Of these, nearly 3.1 to 3.2 lakh students appeared for the test. The exam was held across 745 centres throughout the state.

Candidates who clear the exam will have to apply for the KCET 2026 counselling process. The counselling will be conducted online. First, students need to get their documents verified. After that, they'll have to register and select their preferred colleges. A mock allotment will follow, and then the final seat allotment will take place. Once a candidate is allotted a college, they must pay the admission fees to secure their seat.

Students can get admission in more than 200 colleges across Karnataka through KCET 2026 scores. These include government, aided, and private institutions. The exam opens the door to undergraduate courses in engineering, agriculture, and pharmacy across the state.
