KCET 2026 Round 2 Option Entry Starts: Check Schedule and Rules
KEA has initiated the second round of KCET 2026 counselling process. The option entry period for UGCET courses has been made available and will be active until 13 August 2026.

KCET 2026 Round 2: Important Dates

KCET Round 2 Seat Allotment Date
The seats will be allotted for engineering, agriculture science, and other CET courses in addition to medical courses. The provisional seat allotment result for the year 2026 will be declared by KEA on 19th August 2026.
KCET 2026 Round 2: Key Rules
Students who have not opted for their choices in previous rounds will be able to do so in this round.
After the release of the allotment result in round 2, the UGCET aspirants will be left with two options: Choice-1 (Accept & Freeze) or Choice-4 (Exit from counselling).
Document Verification and Re-Counselling
Those students who have not yet got their documents verified can go for it. They have to come to the KEA office on Saturday, get themselves verified, download the slip, and unlock their options.
Such students who opted out earlier by Choice-4, or did not opt any choice in round 1, can come back into the fray. They will have to pay Rs. 750 as re-counselling fees.
