KCET DCET 2026 Document Verification for Working Professionals on August 13

KCET DCET 2026 document verification for eligible working professional diploma candidates has been scheduled by Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA).

According to the official notification, as cited in the source copy, eligible candidates can report for the document verification personally on August 13, 2026, at 11 AM.

This is with respect to those candidates who have applied for admission into engineering courses under the working professionals category via Diploma DCET 2026.

Additionally, this is applicable for the candidates having work experience and appearing in the Diploma DCET 2026 examination.

KEA has announced the verification process following the release of the seat matrix by the Karnataka government for admission of eligible professional diploma candidates in Veerappa Nisti Engineering College, Yadgir.

KEA DCET 2026: Documents Required for Verification

Candidates who will be attending document verification for KEA DCET 2026 should bring along the following documents:

  • DCET/KCET Online application form (printed)
  • Valid exam hall ticket/Admit Card
  • Marks Card of SSLC/Class 10
  • Marks Cards of Diploma semesters-wise (for DCET candidates)
  • Marks Card of Class 12 (for KCET candidates)
  • Study Certificate indicating 7 years of education in Karnataka
  • Category/Caste income certificate (in case of claimants)
  • Experience certificates for working professional candidates

It is advised that candidates bring along their documents before proceeding to document verification.

KCET DCET 2026 Admission through Government Seat Matrix

The admission of professional working students in engineering institutions would be contingent upon the seat matrix released by the Karnataka Government.

The admission procedure shall be conducted according to the AICTE guidelines pertaining to diploma working professional students.

The candidates having at least 1 year of full-time or regular work experience would be eligible for lateral admission in the second year/semester of engineering courses.

The admission procedure would still be conditional on the relevant rules/directions of the Karnataka Government.
