KCET Rank List to Be Revised After Class 12 Revaluation, Says KEA
Candidates who have undergone any change in their marks in the Class 12 examination must produce a copy of their updated marks sheet from the KEA office, 18th Cross, Malleshwaram, Bengaluru.
Candidates will be allowed to submit the marks sheets from July 4 to July 6. After the verification of the marks through the DigiLocker account of concerned students, the revised marks will be taken into consideration. Revised ranks will be issued after verification of the marks.
KEA has also released the KCET counselling schedule for 2026. First mock seat allotment results will be declared on July 6 after 11 am. Important information regarding first round is given below:
| Mock seat allotment results | July 6 (after 11 am) |
| Add, alter, rearrange or delete options | July 6 (2 pm) – July 9 (10 am) |
| First round real seat allotment results | July 15 (after 11 am) |
However, the formal notification of the updated rank system came after complaints from many CBSE candidates about how the KEA was not giving updated ranks to them.
Since the On-Screen Marking controversy of the CBSE and its later re-evaluation, in which over 1.6 lakh candidates have been applying, there have been some candidates who have seen an increase in their marks and have been asking for their ranks to be revised, but are alleged to have been ignored by the KEA.
