Kerala Plus One Improvement Exam 2026 Timetable Out: Check the Full Schedule

Kerala Higher Secondary Examinations Board's Department of General Education has declared the schedule for the first year higher secondary improvement and supplementary examinations 2026. The examinations are scheduled to begin from October 12, 2026. Candidates may view the complete schedule at the official HSE portal.

Candidates belonging to regular admission, lateral admission, readmission, compartment admission, and special category admission need to apply till September 10, 2026. Candidates missing the above deadline have an option to apply till September 15 after paying Rs 600 as fine.

When will the Kerala Plus One improvement exams be held?

The first-year higher secondary improvement and supplementary exams will run from October 12 to October 17. Here's the day-wise schedule:

Kerala Plus One exam timings

Subjects not having practicals are scheduled as follows: Morning Session – 9:30 am to 12:15 pm Afternoon Session - 2:00 pm to 4:45 pm

The timing for subjects that have practicals is as follows: except for Biology and Music, both morning and afternoon exams are scheduled from 9:30 am to 11:45 am and 2:00 pm to 4:15 pm respectively.

For Biology, there is a separate time slot. The time duration for the subject is 9:30 am – 11:55 am, which has 25 minutes of cool-off time as well. The music time duration is 2 pm – 3:45 pm, which has 15 minutes of cool-off time as well.

Cool-off time means the additional time given at the beginning to go through the question paper before you start writing anything.

What are the important application dates?

The regular, lateral entry, readmitted, compartment, and special category candidates have to make the application before September 10. The principals will be required to deposit the exam fee into the treasury up to September 11.

Should one fail to meet the first date, he/she will be required to submit the application up to September 15 at the cost of Rs 600 fine. Principals will be required to deposit the fee along with the fine until September 16. Additionally, schools will be required to complete the online registration of candidates and upload the necessary information up to September 16.
