In Madhya Pradesh, All Government and Private Schools for classes 6 to 12 will be reopened from September 1, 2021. Parent’s Consent will be mandatory to visit the schools for offline classes.
After the schools reopen only 50% attendance in a single day will be allowed. The MP State Schools reopening was announced by the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Shivraj Singh Chauhan.
Earlier this week the government has decided to reopen schools for Classes 6 to 8 next month, but they are extra cautious to take a call on it, due to the pandemic.
Schools reopening for classes 1st to 5th will be in consideration after reopening the schools for higher standards.
Approximately, 45,000 private schools affiliated to the Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education were to sit for protests across the Madhya Pradesh State from september 2. This protest was scheduled to demand reopening of schools.
