MHT CET 2026 CAP Round 2 Vacant Seats Today, Steps to Check

MHT CET 2026 CAP Round 2 vacant seats will be released today, August 6, 2026, by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra. Students who have enrolled for this round of counselling can view the vacant seats list on the official website, fe2026.mahacet.org.

Upon the release of the list, students can fill and confirm the CAP Round 2 option form through their login. This portal will remain open from August 7 to August 9, 2026. Provisional seat allotment for Round 2 will be made on August 12, 2026.

Those students who get seat in Round 2 can confirm their seats through their login. The candidates who get a seat for the very first time in this round need to make the seat acceptance fee payment online. The payment portal remains open from August 13 to August 17, 2026.

An important point which needs to be noted is that if the candidate gets a seat as per any of the first 3 preferences of his, then the seat will automatically be frozen for him. He needs to make the acceptance fee payment online, and he will not be eligible for the participation in further rounds.

After making the fee payment, the students need to report to their allotted institutes with the necessary documents. Admission confirmation portal will remain open from August 13 to August 17, 2026.

• A new webpage will be opened. Provide your login credentials.
• Hit on submit button and you will see the list of vacant seats.
• Check the list and download it.
• Print out the list for future purpose.

The result of MHT CET CAP Round 1 seat allocation has been announced on August 2, 2026. The deadline for accepting the allocated seat was August 5, 2026, and the same date was the last date for reporting to the allocated colleges.
