(xiii) Unless it rains, we shall go to school. (Rewrite the sentence using 'if' inplace of 'Unless')

(xiv) Birds migrate in winter. (Rewrite the sentence in "Past continuous")

Ans. (ii) Birds were migrating in winter.

(xv) He did not go to school. He was ill. (Combine the sentences using"because")

Ans. (iii) He did not go to school because he was ill.

(xvi) He teaches Hindi. (Change the voice)

Ans. (iv) Hindi is taught by him.

(xvii) He is too weak to go school. (Rewrite the sentence using "So....... that")

Ans. (v) He is so weak that he cannot go school.

(xviii) My mother is cooking food. (Make interrogative)

Ans. (vi) Is my mother cooking food?

(xix) Children are making toys. (Change the voice)

Ans. (i) Toys are being made by children.

(xx) She shut the door. (Change into negative)

Ans. (ii) She did not shut the door.

(xxi) He is too poor to pay his fees. (Rewrite using "so..... that")

Ans. (iii) He is so poor that he can not pay his fees.

(xxii) Unless you work hard, you won't pass. (Use 'if' in place of 'Unless')

Ans. (iv) If you do not work hard, you won't pass.

(xiii) The tall man is a doctor. The tall man is talking to my father. (Combine the sentences using 'who')

Ans. (v) The tall man who is talking to my father is a doctor. .

(xxvi) Delhi is larger than Bhopal. (Rewrite using positive degree of Adjective)

Ans. (vi) Bhopal is not as large as Delhi.
