NEET, JEE Main : Separate Merit will be made for Government School Children in MBBS and BTech admission
Tamil Nadu had announced before MP to give quota to the children of government schools in medical and engineering institutions. Now soon Madhya Pradesh government is also going to implement this system.
In the admission of medical and engineering in MP, separate merit will be made for children studying in government schools. To increase the number of government school students in medical and engineering institutions, they will have a separate quota. In the current system of reservation, the quota will be fixed horizontally in each category.CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan participated in the Vikas Yatra at Mahidpur Nagar in Ujjain district on Thursday and said this during the State Level Employment Day program. However, a day earlier on Thursday, this announcement was also made in Balaghat.
In Ujjain, he said that it has come to be seen that the percentage of children in government schools in the selection test of medical and engineering is less. In view of this, new rules are now being made in Madhya Pradesh, in which a separate merit list will be made for the children of government schools. The Chief Minister said that medical and engineering studies, which were going on since the British era, have now been started in Hindi in Madhya Pradesh. With this, the sons and daughters of our poor farmers will also be able to study.
Apart from this, he said that 1.25 lakh recruitments are being done for government jobs. In order to make the youth self-reliant, several schemes are being run for their self-employment.
Apply for Ladli Bahna Yojana from March 5.
