National Entrance Screening Test 2026 schedule has been officially released, giving aspirants clarity on registration timeline and exam date.

NEST is conducted annually for admission to five-year Integrated MSc programmes offered by NISER Bhubaneswar and UM-DAE CEBS Mumbai. Candidates planning to appear for exam are advised to check important dates to avoid missing various stages of admission process.

This exam will be conducted in a single session on June 6, 2026, across different exam centres. Registered candidates will be able to download their admit cards from the official website starting May 15.

NEST 2026: Eligibility Criteria

Before applying, candidates must ensure they meet the following criteria:

Education: Must have passed the Class 12 examination from a recognized board in 2024, 2025, or be appearing for the same in 2026.
Subjects: Must have studied at least three out of the four basic science subjects (Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics) in Class 11 and 12.
Minimum Marks: An aggregate of at least 60% marks in Class 12 (55% for SC/ST/Divyangjan categories).
Nationality: Must be an Indian citizen.

As per NEST website, National Entrance Screening Test is a compulsory online computer-based test for admission to Integrated MSc programme by National Institute of Science Education and Research and Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CEBS) at University of Mumbai.
