The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) is accepting applications for Class 9 and 11 lateral entry admission for 2024 until tomorrow, October 31. To secure a spot in JNV Class 9 or 11, eligible students can apply through the official website, navodaya.gov.in.

JNV Lateral Entry Selection Test Details

The JNV lateral entry selection test for Class 9 and 11 will take place on February 10, 2024. Admission will be granted based on students' performance in this test, which has a duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes.

Notably, while NVS previously conducted lateral entry admissions only for Class 9, this year marks the inclusion of Class 11 lateral entry admission.

Eligibility Criteria

For JNV Class 9 lateral entry admission, eligible students must be residents in the same district as the JNV and currently enrolled in Class 8 at a government-recognized school for the 2023-2024 academic year.

As for JNV Class 11 lateral entry admissions, students must be residents and currently studying in Class 10 at a government-recognized school within the district where the JNV is located. Additionally, students applying for Class 11 lateral entry admission should be between 15 to 17 years of age.

Steps to Apply for NVS Class 9, 11 Lateral Entry Admission 2024

Visit the official website: navodaya.gov.in.
On the homepage, select the JNV Class 9 or 11 lateral entry admission 2024 link.
Generate your user ID and password.
Complete the registration, log in, and fill out the online application form.
Submit the form after paying the application fee.
