The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has declared the results of Class 5 exams, recording an exceptional 99.54% pass rate for 2025. A total of 3,00,575 students appeared for the exam this year, of which 2,99,204 students were successful.
The results were declared offline at the respective schools, in a change from previous years when the results were made available online on the official PSEB website and other platforms.

This year’s PSEB Class 5 exams were held from March 7 to 13, 2025, and saw impressive success rates among students from both government and non-government schools. The results show that a considerable number of
Punjab Board students passed, whichreflects the commitment to academic excellence and educational standards within the state. The overall pass percentage of girls stood at 99.55%, with 1,41,844 out of a total of 1,42,481 girls being promoted. In government schools, 93,790 out of 94,209 girls passed, while in non-government schools, 48,054 out of 48,272 girls passed. This was a remarkable achievement for female students, continuing the trend of strong academic performance.
In comparison, the pass percentage of boys was recorded at 99.48%. A total of 1,57,206 boys out of 1,58,018 passed the exam. Of these, 100,849 boys from government schools were promoted, while the remaining students from non-government schools also performed remarkably.
Government Schools get Massive Success
Out of the total 3,00,575 students who took the PSEB Class 5 exam, 1,95,582 students were from government schools and 1,04,993 students were from non-government schools. Of the government school students, 1,94,740 were successful, reflecting an impressive success rate. In non-government schools, 1,04,464 students passed, taking the overall pass rate to an excellent 99.54%.

Re-evaluation and next steps for students
For students who are not satisfied with their results, PSEB has announced the option of re-evaluation. Parents can contact school authorities to inquire about the re-evaluation process and fill the required application form when available.
