India’s Global Standing
With this meteoric rise, India is now the fourth most represented country in the world after the US, the UK, and China. This shows that Indian universities are strengthening their position on the global stage, especially in the areas of quality of education, research publications, and international collaborations.
However, it is also true that India needs to improve in some key areas—such as international student diversity, faculty-student ratio, and global collaborations—to get more institutions in the top 100 or even 50.
