TS Inter 2026 Recounting and Re-verification — What is the Difference?

Many students get confused regarding the distinction between recounting and re-verification. Here is a simplified explanation:

  • Recounting (₹100 per subject): The Board re-calculates your marks to check for any errors in the total summation. This does not involve re-reading your answers.
  • Re-verification (₹600 per subject): A different examiner re-evaluates your answer script from scratch. You also receive a scanned copy of your evaluated answer script.

Both options will be available after the results are declared. You can apply online through the TSBIE portal at tsbie.cgg.gov.in using your Hall Ticket Number.
