VITEEE 2026 Registration Date extended to April 12 for BTech admissions

Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has extended the date for registration for the VITEEE 2026 application form for admission to B.Tech programs across its various campuses spread across the country. Eligible candidates can now apply for the VIT Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE) 2026 through the official website, viteee.vit.ac.in, until April 12.

This engineering institute will conduct the computer-based VITEEE 2026 from April 28 to May 3 for admission into its various B.Tech programs.

The B.Tech admission process at VIT campuses comprises the submission of the VITEEE 2026 application form, verification and scrutiny of the application by the institute, issuance of links for exam slot booking to candidates by VIT, booking of exam slots and centers, issuance of admit cards to candidates, the VITEEE 2026 examination, declaration of results, counseling, submission of program preference lists by candidates, and document verification.

The VITEEE 2026 application fee for Indian candidates is ₹1,350, while for foreign students, it is $90 (approximately ₹8,434).

Candidates should note that the VITEEE 2026 application fee is a non-refundable fee that can be paid via Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, or Paytm.

VIT conducted the VITEEE 2026 for admission to B.Tech courses offered across its four campuses, including VIT Vellore, VIT Chennai, VIT Andhra Pradesh, and VIT Bhopal.

VITEEE Registration 2026: How to Upload Signature & Photos

Candidates aspiring for admission to B.Tech courses at various VIT campuses must fill out the VITEEE 2026 application form. Here are the steps to correctly upload the images of the photograph and signature.

Photo Upload Process:

• Ensure that the photograph is in color.
• It should be presented against a white or light-colored background.
• In the photograph, the face should appear completely frontal, without any tilt; both ears must be visible, the eyes should be open, and the face should bear a neutral expression.
• The photo must be clear. The format of the uploaded photo must be JPEG only.
• The size of the photo should be between 20kB and 300kB.
• The dimensions of the photograph should be Width (300 to 400 pixels) x Height (400 to 550 pixels).

Signature Upload Process:

• Sign using a dark blue or black pen inside a rectangular box measuring 6 cm (width) x 2 cm (height) on a sheet of A4-sized white paper.
• Scan the photograph of the signature in JPEG format and crop the image.
• Open the scanned signature image in MS Paint and crop it to fit the rectangular box that was previously marked and signed on the A4 white paper.
• While cropping the image, ensure that its dimensions are 3.5 cm (width) x 1.5 cm (height).
• The file size of the scanned signature image must be between 5 KB and 150 KB.
