VITEEE Results 2026 Out: Direct Link to Check Score and Rank Card

VITEEE 2026 results were announced by the Vellore Institute of Technology on May 8. Approximately 2.5 lakh students who wrote the online exam between April 28 and May 3 will be able to view their results on the website.

How to Check VITEEE 2026 Results Online

Here’s how you can download your rank card:

Step 1: Visit the official website https://viteee.vit.ac.in or http://vit.ac.in/.

Step 2: Select the VITEEE Result 2026 link from the homepage.

Step 3: Input your application number and password.

Step 4: Enter the Captcha code and click on Login.

Step 5: Your rank card will be displayed along with your marks and All India Rank.

Step 6: Save it and print it out.

What Your VITEEE Rank Means

Rank will determine what campus and branch the candidate can apply for. Candidates with ranks below 1,00,000 can apply to all four campuses, viz., Vellore, Chennai, Andhra Pradesh, and Bhopal, whereas students with ranks above 1 lakh are eligible to apply to VIT-AP and VIT Bhopal campuses.

VITEEE 2026 Counselling and Admission Process

The process of counseling at VIT will be carried out through a phased online process. Admissions to the college solely depend upon your ranking at the VITEEE examination.

Category Fee System Explained

The VIT admission process follows a category-based system from Category 1 to Category 5, where the lower category numbers represent lower tuition fees. The lowest fees apply to Category 1, which admits only the highest-ranking candidates.

For instance, if you wish to join the core branch of CSE at the Vellore campus under Category 1, then your rank should not fall below 1,500.
