WBJEE 2023 Counselling : Important Notice Released for WBJEE & JEE Rank Holders - wbjeeb.nic.in
In accordance with the official notice, there will be a combined counselling session for WBJEE-2023 and JEE(Main)-2023 rank holders. This counselling will facilitate seat allotment in the institutes and courses as specified in the approved Seat Matrix by the Competent Authority. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria and have obtained a rank (GMR/PMR) in the common entrance examination (WBJEE-2023) and/or JEE(Main)-2023 are eligible to register for counselling.
The counselling process will consist of three rounds: Allotment, Upgradation, and Mop-Up. Registration is mandatory for participating in counselling and securing a seat allotment.
WBJEE 2023 Counselling: How to Register
To participate in the counselling round, candidates can follow the steps outlined below:
- Visit the official website of WBJEEB at wbjeeb.nic.in.
- Click on the WBJEE 2023 Counselling registration link provided on the homepage.
- Enter the login details and click on submit.
- Fill in the application form and make the necessary fee payment.
- Submit the form and download the confirmation page.
- Keep a hard copy of the confirmation page for future reference.
The seat allotment for the first round will be announced on a predetermined date. Candidates can log in to check their allotment status, which will display the institute and course they have been allotted. To confirm the seat, candidates must pay a seat acceptance fee of Rs. 5000/- through online transactions (Net banking, Debit Card/Credit Card/UPI) and download the allotment letter. Failure to pay the seat acceptance fee will result in the cancellation of the current allotment, and the candidate will not be considered for seat allotment in the Upgradation Round.
