WBJEE 2026 Defence Quota Admission Counselling on Aug 18: Check Details Here

The WBJEEB has released the WBJEE 2026 Defence Quota counseling schedule. As per the notification issued, the counseling is scheduled to be conducted on August 18, 2026, in an offline manner.

A total of 105 candidates have been nominated by the Rajya Sainik Board, Home Department for the WBJEE Defence Quota counseling.

If candidates have not attended WBJEE 2026 counseling prior to this, they would have to pay Rs 500 in cash as a counseling fee.

WBJEE 2026 Defence Quota Counselling Date

Candidates can check the WBJEE Defence Quota counselling date, time and venue below.

All the candidates need to attend the counselling in person along with the necessary documents.

During WBJEE Defence Quota counselling 2026, the candidates will be called for seat allocation depending upon the General Merit Rank (GMR).

Domicile is not mandatory to apply for the Defence Quota in Government Engineering and Technology colleges as well as in Jadavpur University.

The total seats reserved under the Defence Quota are 13. Among these, 11 seats are allotted in various courses in the Government Engineering and Technology colleges, whereas 2 seats are allocated in Jadavpur University.

Documents required for WBJEE 2026 Defence Quota Counselling

The candidate is supposed to bring both original and photocopy of the documents on the counselling day itself.

• WBJEE 2026 Rank Card
• Date of birth proof
• Class 12 mark sheet
• One recent colour passport size photograph
• WBJEE 2026 seat allotment letter, if any

Candidates need to come to the venue on time and get all the documents ready for verification.
