WBJEE 2026 Notification Out: Application Starts March 10, Check Full Exam Schedule
The West Bengal Joint Entrance Board (WBJEE) has released the schedule for the 2026 engineering examination in the state. Applications for WBJEE 2026 will begin on March 10. The last date for registration and fee submission is April 5.
Applicants will have the opportunity to make corrections to their forms from April 7 to 9. Admit cards will be available on the website from May 15. The engineering entrance exam will be held on May 24.
Interested and eligible candidates will be able to apply for the exam through the official website at wbjeeb.nic.in.
According to the West Bengal Joint Entrance Board, the Mathematics exam will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and the Physics and Chemistry exams will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. The results will be announced later.
WBJEE Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be Indian citizens or Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), provided they have been approved by the competent authority. OCI candidates are only eligible for unreserved seats under the All India Quota.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Class 12 (10+2) or equivalent examination before 2026, or be appearing for the same examination in 2026.
Age Limit: The minimum age limit is 17 years as of December 31, 2026. Candidates must have been born on or before December 12, 2009. There is no upper age limit for most courses, except for the Marine Engineering course, for which the upper age limit is 25 years.
Candidates should note that a detailed notification and information booklet will be released on March 10 along with the application forms. This will contain detailed eligibility criteria.
WBJEE Application Fee
The application fee varies according to different categories and genders. Last year, in WBJEE, the fee was ₹500 for general category men, ₹400 for women, and ₹300 for third gender applicants. For SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, EWS and Divyang categories, men were required to pay Rs 400, women Rs 300 and third gender applicants Rs 200.

Candidates will be able to submit the WBJEE application fee online during registration. The approved banks will not charge any fees. Offline fee payment methods are not accepted by WBJEEB. The list of accepted payment methods for the WBJEE 2026 application form is provided below.

- Visit the official website: `wbjeeb.nic.in`.
- Click on the 'WBJEE 2026 Registration' link and select "New Candidate Registration".
- Fill in required personal details, educational qualifications, and contact information.
- Upload scanned copies of a photograph and signature as per specifications.
- Pay the application fee via net banking, credit card, or debit card.
- Review, submit, and print the confirmation page.
