National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2020 application form today, on December 2, 2019 at 5:15 PM. Candidates can apply online until the last date, December 31, 2019.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (UG) - 2020 [NEET (UG) - 2020 on May 3, 2020 from 02:00 pm to 05:00 pm. The exam will begin at 2 pm and the gates will close at 12:30 pm.
Starting this year, the admission to MBBS course in AIIMS, New Delhi, JIPMER and all AIIMS like institutions will be made through NEET only. Also, 'hijab', 'burkha', 'kara' and 'kirpan' will be allowed in the NEET 2020 exam. There are no changes in the question paper pattern. The paper will comprise of physics, chemistry and biology (zoology and botany) and will carry a total of 180 questions, 45 questions for each section. The counselling will be done by the directorate general of health services (DGHS) even for the AIIMS and JIPMER.

Candidates are advised to take 6-8 Passport size and 4-6 Post Card size (4"X6") colored photographs with white background. The photographs are to be used for uploading on Online Application Form, for examination and also for Counselling/Admission.
As per the new security feature, introduced this year, the candidates will have to upload a 'postcard size' photograph as well. This is apart from the passport size photograph to be uploaded. The postcard size photographs will be made available at the centres and the candidates will get a performa along with the admit card where they will have to paste the uploaded postcard size photograph.
NEET-UG 2020 will be conducted in 11 languages and for the first time, the information bulletin will be made available in all these languages.
NEET-UG entrance will also use AI to flag similar looking photographs or problem cases. When the aspirants will upload the photographs, a software will match the photographs and will flag similar looking photographs. The software will also detect blank and poor resolution or blurred photos. In problem cases, the candidates will be sent a message and a link will be sent where they will get access to click live photo. The software will also check whether the photo is actually live. That photo will be sent to the database where it will be matched with the problem cases.
