CA January 2027 Exam Dates Released: Check Foundation and Intermediate Exam Schedule

The timetable for January 2027 CA Intermediate and Foundation examinations has been released by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). CA Intermediate examinations would be conducted in two groups. Group 1 papers are to be held on January 2, 4 and 6, and Group 2 examinations on January 8, 10 and 12, 2027.

The CA Foundation examinations are to be held on January 3, 5, 7 and 9.

CA January 2027 Exam Schedule

Foundation and Intermediate examinations would start at 2 pm. CA Foundation Papers 1 and 2 and all CA Intermediate papers would be of three hours whereas CA Foundation Papers 3 and 4 would be of two hours.

Advance Reading Time of 15 minutes, from 1:45 pm to 2 pm, would be given in all papers except CA Foundation Papers 3 and 4.

January 2027 CA examinations would be conducted in 207 cities of India, including Delhi/New Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Jaipur, Lucknow and Noida. Examination would also be conducted at three overseas centres - Bahrain, Dubai and Kathmandu.

CA January 2027 Application Form Dates

The CA January 2027 exam application process will begin on November 3, 2026. Candidates can submit their application forms without a late fee until November 16, 2026. Those submitting forms between November 17 and November 19, 2026 will have to pay a late fee.

Change in the examination city or medium may be made by the candidates between November 20 and November 22.

The examination fee to be paid by the candidates appearing from Indian centres for Foundation examination is Rs 1,500. For Intermediate examination the fee would be Rs 1,500 for one group/Unit (except Unit 2) and Rs 2,700 for both groups/Unit 2.

The examination fee to be paid by candidates appearing from overseas centres, other than Kathmandu, would be US $325 for Foundation examination or one Intermediate group, and US $500 for both Intermediate groups. At Kathmandu centre the fee would be Rs 2,200 for Foundation examination or one Intermediate group, and Rs 3,400 for both Intermediate groups.

English and Hindi would be the mediums of answers of candidates appearing for the Foundation and Intermediate examinations.

ICAI has informed that candidates would need to submit their CA examination applications online through Self Service Portal (SSP) of the Institute. It has also clarified that there will be no change in the examination schedule in case of declaration of any examination day as public holiday by the Central or state governments or local bodies.
