CAT 2026 Registration Deadline Extended: Apply Online Till September 22 at iimcat.ac.in

The Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) have extended the CAT 2026 registration deadline. Candidates can now submit their Common Admission Test (CAT) 2026 application form until September 22, 2026, at 5 PM.

The registration process started on August 3, 2026, and the deadline has been extended to provide more time to candidates who are yet to complete their applications.

IIMs have advised candidates to complete the registration process early to avoid last-minute issues related to form submission, document upload, or fee payment.

The authorities have also clarified that the September 22 deadline will be final and will not be extended further.

CAT 2026 Application Fee

The CAT 2026 registration fee differs according to the candidate’s category. The fee payment must be completed online before the deadline.

Fee payment is a mandatory step for completing the CAT 2026 application process. Candidates whose payment is incomplete will not have their application accepted.

CAT 2026 Registration Process: Steps to Apply

The candidates can go through the following steps for completing their CAT 2026 registration:

• Go to the official CAT website www.iimcat.ac.in.
• Choose “Register” from the list of options available for New Candidate Registration.
• Provide basic information like name, date of birth, email address, and mobile number.
• Confirm OTP received via email and mobile number.
• Login with the username and password sent by IIM CAT.
• Provide your personal, educational, and professional information.
• Upload scanned versions of photograph and signature.
• Select your choice of CAT exam centers.
• Select the IIM and programs of your choice.
• Pay the application fee for CAT 2026.
