ICAI CA Final November 2026 Application Reopens; Check Eligibility and Steps

Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has reopened the online application process for the CA Final November 2026 examinations. This reopening of the application process is done specially in order to give an opportunity to eligible candidates.

Eligible candidates who could not fill in their application form during the normal period of filling can now file it via ICAI Self Service Portal (SSP). The application process has started from August 1, 2026, and will end on August 5, 2026, 11:59 pm.

As per the notification issued by ICAI, a number of eligible candidates failed to submit their applications due to confusion regarding the CA Final examination schedule. Therefore, the ICAI Council has decided to open this special application process.

Original CA Final November 2026 application period was open between July 6 and July 19, 2026. In addition, candidates had the facility to apply for their forms with a late fee till July 22, 2026.

The CA Final November 2026 examination is one of the first few examination cycles after the return of ICAI back to the twice-a-year CA Final examination schedule. ICAI has now returned to May and November CA Final examination schedule from its previous 3 times a year examination schedule.

According to ICAI, the return of twice-a-year examination schedule created confusion among certain students regarding the date and deadline of form filing.

How to Apply for ICAI CA Final November 2026 Examination

Step 1: Go to the official SSP website of ICAI - eservices.icai.org

Step 2: Login using your registered user ID and password.

Step 3: Fill up the form for the application to take the CA Final Exam.

Step 4: Submit all the required documents in the appropriate format.

Step 5: Choose your exam center.

Step 6: Pay the exam fee online.

Step 7: Submit the form and get the confirmation page.

It is advisable to have all the documents in hand before filling up the form. It could include a latest photo, signature, category certificate, certificate of service, etc.

ICAI Introduces Online Exemption Surrender Facility

ICAI has also made a new facility available online for those who wish to give up their exemptions, even permanent exemptions.

It is possible to surrender exemption by accessing the SSP dashboard via the “Exam Functions” tab.

Candidates who have appeared for CA Final examination in November 2026 can avail this facility till September 30, 2026.

According to ICAI, the purpose of launching the online facility to surrender exemptions is to facilitate better access to services related to the examinations.
