ICSE 10th Exams 2027 New Rule: Students Must Be in Exam Hall by 9:45 AM, Check Details

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) is considering a change in the examination timing for the ICSE Class 10 Board Exams 2027. According to media reports and information from sources, the board may shift the exam starting time from 11:00 AM to 10:00 AM.

The proposed change is aimed at improving administrative coordination between the ICSE Class 10 and ISC Class 12 examinations. However, CISCE has not yet officially confirmed the final timetable.

Why Is CISCE Considering a Change in Exam Timing?

According to the information provided, starting the examination at 10:00 AM could help improve coordination between ICSE and ISC examinations. It may also make the management of examination centres and evaluation activities easier.

An earlier start would also mean that longer three-hour examinations could finish by around 1:15 PM instead of 2:00 PM. This could allow students to return home earlier.

ICSE Board Exams 2027: Important Instructions for Students

Students preparing for the ICSE Class 10 Board Exams 2027 should be aware of the proposed timing change. If the new schedule is approved, students may need to be seated in the examination hall by 9:45 AM.

However, students shouldn't treat this as the final examination timing yet. CISCE's official date sheet is still awaited, and the final schedule should be checked once it is released.

Students should regularly check the official CISCE website, cisce.org, for the final timetable, examination timings and other updates.
