Eligible candidates don’t need to apply separately for DPEF. They can apply for the PhD program admission process of the institute.

This fellowship program has been offered by IIT Kharagpur to the JAM 2026 top 50 rankers willing to join a post-graduation program of the institute.

IIT Kanpur Bright Minds Scholarship: ₹3 Lakh Per Year for JEE Advanced Rankers

The Bright Minds Scholarship is offered by IIT Kanpur to students who are the best rankers in JEE Advanced and enroll in any of the UG courses offered there.

Eligibility for the scholarship is limited to students who rank among the Top 100 AIR in JEE Advanced and pursue BTech/BS courses at IIT Kanpur. The selected students get:
