VITEEE 2027 Exam Dates Out: Test to Be Held from April 27 to 30, Registration Details

The Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has started the VITEEE 2027 registration process for candidates seeking admission to undergraduate engineering programmes at VIT campuses. VITEEE 2027: Who Can Apply?

Candidates who have passed Class 12 in 2025 or 2026, or are appearing for the qualifying examination in 2027, can apply for VITEEE 2027, subject to the prescribed eligibility conditions.

Candidates generally need at least 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology, as applicable. For candidates belonging to the SC and ST categories, as well as those from Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh and northeastern states, the minimum aggregate requirement is 50%.

Candidates who choose Biology instead of Mathematics can apply only for specified BTech programmes. Applicants should check the official VITEEE 2027 information brochure for the required subject combination and programme-specific eligibility criteria.

VITEEE 2027 Registration: How to Apply

Candidates can follow the steps below to complete the VITEEE application form 2027:

1. Visit the official website, viteee.vit.ac.in.
2. Click on the new user registration link.
3. Enter the required details, including your name, email ID and mobile number.
4. Verify the registration details and log in using the generated credentials.
5. Enter your personal, contact and academic details.
6. Provide the required examination details and select the test city.
7. Upload the photograph, signature and other required documents in the prescribed format.
8. Pay the VITEEE application fee of Rs 1,450 through the available online payment options.
9. Review all details carefully before submitting the form.
10. Download and save the confirmation page and payment receipt for future reference.

VITEEE 2027 Exam Pattern

VITEEE 2027 will be conducted as a computer-based test (CBT). The question paper will contain 100 multiple-choice questions, and candidates will get two hours to complete the examination. The exam will be conducted in English.

The paper will include 40 questions from Mathematics or Biology, 25 questions each from Physics and Chemistry, and five questions each from Aptitude and English.

Candidates need to select Mathematics or Biology based on their qualifying subjects and the BTech programme they wish to pursue.

Each correct answer will carry four marks, while one mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer. No marks will be awarded or deducted for unanswered questions or questions marked for review.
