JNV Admission 2025: Important Details

Who Can Apply: Students in Class 5 during the 2023-24 school year who meet the requirements can apply.

Application Deadline: Submit your application by September 16, 2024. Apply early to avoid any last-minute problems.

Selection Process: Admission to Class 6 at JNVs is based on the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST). This test, run by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), checks students’ mental skills, math, and regional language knowledge. A merit list will be made from the test results, and the top 80 students from each district will be admitted to their local JNV.

JNV Admission 2025: Eligibility

Academic Requirement: Applicants must have completed Class 3, 4, and 5 from a government, government-aided, or recognized school and must have passed all three classes.

Age Limit: Students must be between 9 and 13 years old as of May 1, 2025.
