Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has extended the deadline to apply for the Class 6 entrance exam, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST), for 2025 admissions. The new last date to apply is September 23, 2024, as per the NVS website.

Students born between May 1, 2013, and July 31, 2015, are eligible to apply. Make sure to apply for the school in your district, where you’re currently studying in Class 5.

The JNVST 2024 exam will be held in two phases: January 18 and April 12, 2025. The first exam on January 18 will cover most states. The second exam on April 12 will be for regions like Jammu and Kashmir, Arunachal Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, and West Bengal.

The exam will have 80 questions for a total of 100 marks.

Documents needed:

Candidate's signature (10-100 KB)
Parent's signature (10-100 KB)
Candidate's photo (10-100 KB)
Certificate signed by both parent and candidate, verified by the Headmaster (50-300 KB)
Residence certificate (if Aadhaar is not available)
