Today, the Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) has announced the timetable for the Karnataka Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) Exam 3 for 2024. Registration forms are now available on the official website kseab.karnataka.gov.in.

The Karnataka SSLC Exam 3 will be conducted from August 2 to August 9 in pen and paper mode. Registration is open, and candidates must complete the process and upload details through their school login by July 17.

Earlier, Karnataka SSLC Exam 2 results for 2024 were announced on July 10. The exam was held from June 14 to June 21 in pen and paper mode. Results for Karnataka SSLC Exam 1 2024 were declared on May 9. Conducted from March 25 to April 6, the SSLC Exam 1 also used pen and paper mode.

This year, there has been a notable decrease of 30% in SSLC pass percentages across Karnataka. Notably, 78 schools in Karnataka, including three in Bengaluru, reported a zero percent pass rate. Girls achieved a higher pass percentage at 81%, compared to boys who recorded 65%.

The board is offering students a chance to improve their scores by retaining the best marks obtained across SSLC Exams 1, 2, and 3. This initiative aims to enhance opportunities for further education or employment selection processes.

Karnataka SSLC Exam Schedule 

Candidates are required to pay the exam registration fee as follows: Rs 407 per subject, Rs 507 for 2 subjects, and Rs 682 for 3 or more subjects.

The Karnataka SSLC Exam 3 will be conducted with the following timings:

• First languages and core subjects: 10:15 am to 1:30 pm
• Second language and third language papers: 10:15 am to 1:15 pm

For differently abled children, additional time allowances are provided:

• 60 minutes extra for a 3-hour question paper
• 50 minutes extra for a 2 hours 30 minutes question paper
• 40 minutes extra for a 2-hour question paper
• 30 minutes extra for a 1 hour 30 minutes question paper
