MCC NEET UG 2026 Round 1 Choice Filling Closes Today; Check Important Guidelines

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will be shutting down the NEET UG Counselling 2026 Round 1 choice filling portal today. Those candidates who have not yet filled in their college and courses preferences need to do so from the official website at mcc.nic.in.

The release of the result of MCC NEET UG Round 1 Seat Allotment Result 2026 has been set for 19 August 2026. The candidates who have been allotted seats will need to report at their allotted institutes from 20 August to 25 August 2026.

The document verification of candidates by their allotted institutes/colleges will be on 26 August 2026.

Candidates can follow these procedures for choice filling in MCC NEET UG Round 1:

• Go to the MCC website – mcc.nic.in.
• Access the link for NEET UG counselling registration/login.
• Log in with the required credentials.
• Choose the “Choice Filling” option.
• The list of colleges and courses that can be filled will get displayed on the screen.
• Select and arrange the choices accordingly.
• Review the choices selected.
• Lock the choices.

How to Lock Choices for MCC NEET UG Counselling 2026?

Candidates must verify the preference list thoroughly before making their preferences permanent.

Access Choice Locking via the MCC counseling portal and ensure that the colleges and programs have been chosen properly. The preference list cannot be altered once it is locked by the candidates.

In addition, candidates need to download or take a print out of their choice confirmation form.

For those students who have not filled up their preferences in MCC NEET UG 2026 Round 1, they must lock their preferences before the last date. The seat allotment depends on the candidate’s NEET UG rank, category and submitted choices.
