MCC NEET UG Counselling 2026: Round 1 Reporting Starts, Round 2 Schedule Soon
Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) has started the process of NEET UG 2026 Round 1 reporting for the eligible candidates. Candidates who have received seats in the first round are now eligible to report.
The Medical Counseling Committee is holding NEET UG counseling for admission in 15 percent All India Quota (AIQ) MBBS, BDS and BSc Nursing seats. The counseling process also includes 100 percent seats in Deemed and Central Universities, all AIIMS institutions, and JIPMER Puducherry.
Candidates, whose names have been included in the NEET UG 2026 Round 1 seat allotment result, will now have to undergo the process of reporting within the prescribed time limit. Last date for NEET UG Round 1 reporting is August 31, 2026.
Documents Required for NEET UG 2026 College Reporting
Candidates should keep all required documents ready before completing the NEET UG Round 1 reporting process.
- NEET UG 2026 Admit Card
- NEET Scorecard/Rank Letter
- Provisional Seat Allotment Letter
- Class 10 Certificate and Marksheet for Date of Birth Proof
- Class 12 Marksheet and Passing Certificate
- Valid Photo ID such as Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Passport or Driving Licence
- 8–10 Recent Passport-Size Photographs
- Cancelled Cheque or Bank Passbook Copy for Refund Account
Candidates should also carry any category, PwD or other supporting certificates required for their admission, wherever applicable.
Students are advised to check the reporting instructions issued by MCC and the allotted college before completing the admission process.
NEET UG 2026 Counselling: When Will Round 2 Registration Begin?
As per the previous schedule of counseling, NEET UG 2026 Round 2 counselling registration was going to start from August 25.
But the Round 1 counseling schedule has been modified now. As the Round 1 counseling registration process will go up to August 31, 2026, so there would also be some changes in the schedule of Round 2.
NEET UG 2026 Round 2 counselling registration is expected to commence in the first week of September. Candidates are advised to wait for the new schedule and notification issued by MCC.
Once the new schedule of Round 2 will be announced, then candidates can verify the dates of registration, choice filling, seat allotment result, and reporting on mcc.nic.in.
Those candidates who got admission in Round 1 need to complete all their admission formalities before the last date. Those who want to join the next round should keep visiting the MCC counseling website for further information on Round 2.
