MHT CET CAP Round 4 2026: Institute Reporting Last Date, Admission Confirmation Process & Important Details

MHT CET 2026 CAP Round 4 Institute Reporting and Seat Confirmation Process Schedule has been announced by State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra. The students who have been allotted their first preference seat, improvement of the allotted seat or have retained their previously allotted seat should report to their respective allotted institutes for admission.

The physical reporting of the allotted institutes along with the verification process has to be completed by 5:00 pm on September 7, 2026. As CAP Round 4 is the last round of centralized counselling for Maharashtra engineering admission, all seats which are allotted in CAP Round 4 will be finalized and automatically frozen.

Before visiting the respective allotted institute, candidates should get themselves verified online and have to make the payment of the non-refundable seat acceptance fee of Rs. 1,000 from the official MHT CET CAP website at fe2026.mahacet.org. The online seat acceptance has to be completed by 3:00 pm on September 7, 2026.

The candidates appearing in the final round of counselling for MHT CET have to take into account the following points:

• Final Seat Allotment: The final and last centralized round of seat allotment would be in CAP Round 4. Seat allotments done in this round, whether fresh or upgraded/retained, will get auto-frozen and become final.
• Institute Reporting Compulsory: Candidates will have to visit their allotted institute within the stipulated time frame along with the original certificates and payment of fees.
• Risk of Seat Allotment Cancellation: There is a possibility of cancellation of the allotted seat if the candidates fail to do the online self-verification and acceptance/visit in time.
