The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the NEET 2021 application form correction facility by three days, meaning it is extended till October 13. Candidates can modify their details submitted during the NEET 2021 phase 2 and phase 1 registration, the NTA said. Since many candidates requested the NTA for an extension of the correction facility, the agency took the decision in the favor of candidates.
The agency also advised the NEET candidates to cross-check and verify their registered e-mail address, because the National Testing Agency will send a scanned copy of the OMR (Optical mark reader) Answer Sheet and Scorecard to the candidate’s registered e-mail address that has been given in the application form.
The correction process along with phase 2 registration, was started on October 1. Meanwhile, the NEET 2021 phase 2 registration window closed on October 10.
In the previous correction window, candidates were allowed to modify only that information that was submitted during the first phase of the application. These details are gender, nationality, e-mail address, category, sub-category, and candidate’s educational details.
Although, during this NEET extended window period, candidates are now allowed to make changes to the details submitted during phase 2 registration as well.
A few pieces of information that can be changed or modified in the extended NEET 2021 correction window are Gender, Nationality, Email address, Category, Sub-category, and the Fields of the second phase.
