NEET Fee Refund 2026 Last Date Extended Again; Verify Bank Account by July 31

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has further extended the deadline to provide or update bank details for NEET UG 2026 examination fee refund. Eligible candidates have now got until 31st July 2026 till 11:50 PM for doing so.

As per the official notice, 11,46,401 candidates had provided their bank details until 14th July. The agency has initiated the refund process of examination fee into the eligible candidates’ verified bank accounts.

It is mentioned in the official notice that those candidates who have not yet provided their bank details can do so till 31st July 2026. The deadline has been extended for this purpose.

Eligible candidates can visit the direct NEET fee refund verification link on the official website for submitting or updating their bank account details.

The official notification released by NTA can be referred to by candidates for getting complete details regarding the refund process. Previously, the deadline was up till 14th July 2026.

NEET UG 2026 Fee Refund: Steps to Submit Bank Details

Candidates should follow the steps below to check or modify their bank account details:

• Step 1: Access the NEET website.
• Step 2: Click on the link labeled “Last Chance to Verify/Bank Account Details Update for NEET (UG) 2026 Fee Refund (Exam Date is May 3, 2026)” that appears on the home page.
• Step 3: New login page opens.
• Step 4: Log in by providing the necessary information.
• Step 5: Carefully check/update the bank account details.
• Step 6: Submit the details and save the verification page for future reference.

It is important that the candidates make sure that their account number, IFSC Code, account holder’s name, and other details provided are accurate. Incorrect data could cause a delay or failure in processing the refund.

NEET UG Re-Test Result 2026 Details

As per sources, NEET UG 2026 re-exam result is likely to be declared by the NTA by July 20. This will not have an impact on the timetable for admission and counselling for the MBBS/ BDS courses.

NEET UG re-exam was conducted on June 21, 2026. The re-exam was held due to the cancellation of the original exam held on May 3 due to the leakage of paper, which reportedly impacted more than 20 lakh candidates.

Provisional answer keys were issued on June 25. The candidates could raise objections to the provisional answer key up to June 28.

Rs 200 fee was charged per challenge raised by the candidates. If the objection raised turns out to be correct, then the objection fee will be refunded to the candidate.

The NEET fees refund bank verification is to be completed by all candidates by July 31. The candidates are suggested to check the NEET website regularly for the refund, final answer key, and result.
