NEET UG 2026 Re-Exam: NTA Shares Paper Pattern, Documents List and Reporting Time
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the NEET UG 2026 re-exam on June 21. Ahead of the exam, NTA has shared the paper pattern, marking scheme, reporting time, and important documents required for candidates.
The NEET UG 2026 re-exam is being held for candidates appearing in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate. NTA shared the details through its official social media handle to help students understand the exam structure clearly.
In its official post, NTA said that NEET UG 2026 has a balanced structure across Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. The agency said this pattern will help candidates appear for the exam with clarity and confidence.

NEET UG 2026 Re-Exam Paper Pattern
NTA has shared the question pattern for the NEET UG 2026 re-exam. The paper will have 180 questions for a total of 720 marks.

NTA has also said that students will be allowed to take the question booklet home after the exam.
NEET UG 2026 Re-Exam Marking Scheme
As per the official marking scheme, candidates will get 4 marks for each correct answer. For every wrong answer, 1 mark will be deducted.
No marks will be given for unanswered questions. Candidates are advised to read each question carefully before marking their answers.

NEET UG 2026 Reporting Time and Exam Day Instructions
According to the official exam instructions, entry to the examination centre will begin at 11 AM. Candidates must reach the centre on time to avoid last-minute problems.
No candidate will be allowed to enter the exam centre after 1:30 PM. The test booklet will be given by the invigilator at 1:45 PM.
Candidates must carry a valid admit card to the exam centre. Without the admit card, they won’t be allowed to enter the examination hall.
NTA has also advised candidates not to carry any barred items or anything that can be used for unfair means during the exam.
Documents to Carry for NEET UG 2026 Re-Exam
Candidates must bring the following documents on the day of the NEET UG 2026 re-exam:
A printed copy of the Re-NEET admit card downloaded from the NTA website.
Two passport-size photographs, the same as uploaded in the exam application form.
One valid government identity proof.
A certificate of physical limitation to write or PwBD certificate, if claiming relaxation under the PwBD category.
The Centre has warned that strict legal action will be taken against anyone trying to create irregularities or interfere with the examination process. Candidates should follow all rules and check only official NTA updates for exam-related information.
