NEET UG Re-Exam 2026: Last Date Today to Update Bank Details, NTA Issues Reminder

After the paper leakage of NEET on May 3, NTA has conducted the NEET UG re-exam on June 21, 2026, for 20+ lakh candidates. After the conduct of the NEET re-exam, NTA has released the provisional answer key on June 25, 2026. Students were allowed to challenge the provisional answer key till June 28, 2026.

But now many candidates are expecting the NEET UG re-exam result 2026. The exact result date is not clear yet as NTA has not issued the OMR response sheet of NEET 2026.

As per the latest update shared by news agency ANI, NEET UG re-exam result is expected to be declared on or before July 20, 2026. Generally, it takes around 45 days for NTA to declare the NEET UG result. But this year, NTA aims to announce the NEET UG result much earlier.

After declaration, candidates can check NEET UG re-exam result 2026 on the official website www.neet.nta.nic.in. Students can also stay updated regarding the NEET UG result through popular education news portals.

In addition to the result announcement, NTA has also announced an important NEET UG refund update. As per NTA, till now only 8,29,510 candidates have provided or modified the bank account details on the official website.

This clearly indicates that many eligible candidates will not get their refund money if they do not modify their bank details before the last date.

The last date to provide NEET UG 2026 bank details is today, July 7, 2026. Candidates can modify their bank details till 11:50 PM. Candidates who have not provided bank details yet can visit www.neet.nta.nic.in and login using their credentials.

NTA has already begun the NEET UG 2026 refund process for the candidates having updated or modified bank details. Candidates will get their refund money in the next batch of refund process if they modify their bank details till tonight’s last date.

Candidates should check their bank account details carefully while submitting the form. Wrong submission of bank details may delay the refund process.

Students should regularly visit the official NEET UG website for updates regarding result, OMR response sheet, final answer key and refund process.
