Admit card for the re-conducted NEET UG test has been uploaded on the official website neet.nta.nic.in by the NTA. The NEET UG re-test is due on June 21.

According to the notice issued recently by the NTA, the test will be held during the regular afternoon session from 2:00 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. The time duration consists of an extra 15 minutes which have been provided for performing formalities related to the OMR sheet.

This year, around 22,75,011 students have registered for the exam, while 22,05,035 students appeared for it on May 3 across the country. For more details on the admit cards and results, you can visit the IE Education Portal.

The admit card carries the following information: the candidate's name, application number, exam centre, and exam timing. If there's any mistake on the admit card, students should contact the NTA authorities through their helpline as soon as possible.

How to Download the NEET UG Re-Exam Admit Card 2026

Students appearing for the NEET UG

• Go to the official website, neet.nta.nic.in
• On the homepage, click on the 'NEET UG Admit Card 2026' link
• Log in using your application number, date of birth, and security PIN or captcha
• Your NEET admit card will open on the screen. Check it and download it
• Take a printout and keep it safe for the exam day

ID You Must Carry With the Admit Card

All candidates must ensure that they have verified the details present on the hall ticket, such as their names, roll numbers, details of examination center, time of reporting, among others. After verification, they can download their admit cards and take a printout for themselves to carry to the examination center. Candidates must have a valid ID proof in addition to the admit card to enter the examination center.

What Security Arrangements Are in Place?

The authorities have made the security arrangements quite tough for the retest.

• As a significant measure, the delivery of the question papers for NEET will be undertaken by the Indian Air Force (IAF) itself. This means that the papers will reach their destination in a safe manner and there won't be any tampering.
• At the secure location where the NEET question papers are being designed, mobile phones, laptops, and even smartwatches are not allowed.
• There is no Internet facility at this secure location till the conclusion of the exam.
• The panel designing the NEET question paper will remain under a 'lockdown' till the end of the test.

NEET UG Banned Items: Don't Carry These Inside the Exam Centre

No study material, calculators, or stationery items like writing pads are allowed. Electronic gadgets such as mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, earphones, microphones, and health bands are also banned. On top of that, personal items like wallets, handbags, belts, and caps aren't allowed inside the exam centre.

Frisking With Metal Detectors

Several strict steps have been taken to conduct the NEET exam in a safe and fair way. Candidates will be frisked with metal detectors at the entry gate. The NTA has stressed how important it is to follow the set guidelines to avoid being disqualified during the exam.

For your reference, the NTA has already released the City Intimation Slip so candidates who live outside their exam city can plan their travel in time. This slip tells candidates which city their exam centre is in, which helps them arrange travel and stay in advance.
