Telangana Board Extends TS Inter First Year Admission 2023 Deadline to October 9 - Details Here
The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education has decided to extend the deadline for admission to the first-year Intermediate program for the academic year 2023-24 until October 9. In a circular addressed to all junior college principals, the board communicated this decision.
According to the circular, admission to the program in private junior colleges can be completed with the payment of a late fee of Rs 1,000. However, in all government and government-affiliated colleges, admission can be done without any late fee. The board emphasized that there will be no further extension of the admission deadline.

The circular also instructed all principals to take the necessary steps to admit eligible candidates into the Intermediate first year program by the specified deadline, ensuring that deserving students have the opportunity to pursue higher education.
To access a list of junior colleges affiliated with the board in the state, parents and students can visit the official websites acadtsbie.cgg.gov.in and tsbie.cgg.gov.in.
In the Intermediate first-year exam of 2023, 61.68% of students successfully passed the TSIBE. Out of a total of 4,33,082 students who appeared for the board exam, 2,72,208 were 1st-year regular students, and 25,553 were vocational students who achieved passing grades.

Eligible candidates can follow these steps to apply for TS Inter 1st year Admissions 2023 through online mode:
- Visit the official website at tsbie.cgg.gov.in
- Click on the intermediate 1st-year admission link
- Select the Mandal and district in which the applicant desires to enrol
- The list of colleges will appear
- Applicants have to select their preferred college from the list.
