UCEED Result 2026 Declared — IIT Bombay Releases Scores at uceed.iitb.ac.in, Here's How to Check

If you sat for the UCEED exam back in January, today's the day. IIT Bombay released the UCEED 2026 results on March 6, 2026, and scores are now live on the official website.

The Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design is the entry point for B.Des programs at IITs and other top design institutes across the country. The exam took place on January 18, 2026. IIT Bombay released the final answer key on January 28, followed by cut-off marks on February 5. The result declaration today wraps up the evaluation process right on schedule.

Scorecard Download — Don't Miss the Deadline

Your result is displayed today, but the official scorecard is a separate document. IIT Bombay will make the scorecard available for download starting March 10, 2026.

Here's the part you shouldn't ignore: the scorecard download portal closes on July 31, 2026. After that date, you won't be able to access it. IIT Bombay has also made it clear that they won't send hard copies through post or email. So if you need the scorecard — and you will — download it yourself before the deadline.

Set a reminder if you have to. Students lose track of these dates all the time, and there's no workaround once the portal shuts down.

Part-A Response Sheet No Longer Available

One change that surprised some candidates—the ability to download Part A responses has been discontinued. Before the results were released, students could access and download their response sheets. That option is no longer available.

IIT Bombay has also stated that it will not be accepting any further requests for access to response sheets. So, if you haven't already downloaded your response sheet, that window has closed.

What Happens After You Get Your Rank?

While securing a rank on UCEED is an important first step, it doesn't guarantee you'll get in. Admission depends on what happens during the counseling and seat allocation process.

IIT Bombay conducts joint seat allocation for the B.Des program. Participating institutes include IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Roorkee, and IIITDM Jabalpur. Your rank determines which institutes and seats you are eligible for during this process.

The exact counseling schedule has not yet been announced. IIT Bombay will post details on the official UCEED website in due course. Keep checking uceed.iitb.ac.in regularly – all updates will be displayed there first.
