WBJEE 2026 Decentralised Counselling Schedule Revised: Check Updated Counselling Dates

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has released the new schedule of WBJEE 2026 decentralized counselling. Those students who want admission from vacant seats of participating institutions can see the updated counselling dates on a phase-by-phase basis.

According to the new schedule, the WBJEE 2026 decentralized counseling registration process for Phase 1 will start from September 7, 2026, while the registration process along with the choice filling will remain open till September 8, 2026.

The WBJEEB will carry out the decentralized counseling process in two phases in order to fill the vacant seats of participating institutes and courses.

WBJEE 2026 Decentralised Counselling Eligibility Criteria

Those candidates who wish to join the process of WBJEE 2026 decentralised counselling should fulfill the eligibility criteria specified by the board. The eligibility criteria are as follows:

• Both admitted candidates as well as non-admitted candidates may apply for the decentralised counselling process.
• Candidates holding WBJEE rank will have the first preference for getting admission into the desired college and course.
• JEE Main rank holders will be considered after the candidates having WBJEE ranks.
• If a candidate holds WBJEE and JEE Main ranks, then the WBJEE rank will be considered for seat allocation.
• Those candidates who have applied for the counselling process based on their Class 12 qualifying exam will be considered on the basis of HMR.

WBJEE 2026 Counselling Admission Priority

The seat allotment priority during decentralised counselling will be based on the candidate’s available rank.

Candidates are expected to complete the procedure for filling up the form within the stipulated deadline. At the same time, all necessary documents must be kept handy for the sake of verification.
