NTA has already announced the NEET UG Provisional Answer Key therefore candidates can expect their NEET 2021 Result anytime soon. This NEET Exam was conducted on September 12 on the designated exam centers. It was held in pen Paper method. Approximately 15 lakh or more of those candidates are now waiting to check their NTA NEET Result 2021.
However, there are no official announcements regarding the release of NTA NEET UG 2021 Result but candidates can expect it very soon. Once it will be released it will be available on the official website along with that the NEET Final Answer key and All India Rank will be announced too.
Last year the NEET exam result was announced after a month of exam conduction. Since the official has not released any notice yet, students will have to wait till it is announced or until they release any notice for it.
Key Highlight of NEET UG 2021 Exam:
- This year the NEET UG 2021 Questions Paper was easy to moderate difficulty level, It was based on NCERT.
- In NEET 2021 this year the candidate's higher age as a criteria for breaking ties has been removed.
- For every correct answer the candidates will get 4 marks however for one wrong answer 1 mark will be deducted from overall marks. There is no marks deduction for not attempted questions.
- NEET UG 2021 was commenced in Offline mode on September 12, 2021.
Tie-Breaking Criteria For NEET UG 2021
It may be possible that a few candidates will score the same marks in the NEET UG 2021 Result, therefore, the National testing agency has formulated some criteria to break the tie. Following are the Tie-Breaking Criteria For NEET UG 2021:
- Candidates who scored higher marks in Biology in the entrance test, will be ranked higher than others
- In case, if the same marks in biology will be scored by multiple candidates then candidates obtaining higher marks in Chemistry will be ranked higher. If these two tie breaking criteria will not be able to break the tie, then 3rd tie-breaking rule will be applied
- Candidates with the least number of incorrect answers in all subjects will be chosen over the other candidates.
