Amrita BTech 2026 Admission Window Extended to July 15 for JEE Main Candidates

Admissions for BTech programmes at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham have been extended until July 15, 2026. Eligible candidates who took part in JEE Main 2026 can now apply for the BTech programme at Amrita's engineering colleges.

There are two methods of taking admissions into the university – the AEEE test and JEE Main results. According to the admissions process, 30 percent of BTech seats have been reserved for those applicants who apply using their JEE Main rank.

Candidates need to fill out the online form with all the necessary details within the deadlines. Those who are shortlisted on the basis of JEE Main result will be eligible for the BTech admissions at Amrita campuses.

Amrita BTech Admission 2026 Through JEE Main: Eligibility

For candidates who are applying based on JEE Main score, following conditions should apply:

• Valid JEE Main 2026 score.
• Minimum of 55% marks combined in PCM (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) for Class 12.
• Minimum of 50% marks for each of these subjects – Physics, Chemistry, and Maths.

How to Apply for Amrita BTech Admission 2026

These are the procedure steps to follow:

• Go to the official Amrita admissions website – aeee.amrita.edu.
• Register using an email id and mobile number.
• Fill the online form with your personal information, academic information, and JEE Main scores.
• Upload the necessary documents in the appropriate format.
• Make the payment of application fees online.

Aspirants are advised to make the application process much earlier than the deadline which is July 15. The university has confirmed that seat allocation is dependent upon the availability of seats. No other seat allocation rounds have been planned as yet.
