BITSAT Cutoff 2026: Pilani CSE Score Rises, Check 3-Year Cutoff Comparison

Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS Pilani) has announced the cut-off marks for BITSAT 2026 for admission into undergraduate programs offered at their Pilani, Goa, and Hyderabad campuses.

The cut-off marks of BITSAT is the minimum mark needed for admission into various programs. According to the 2026 cut-off marks' data, some popular programs have witnessed an increment in their cut-offs as compared to 2025. But many program cut-offs are still lower than the 2023 and 2024 cut-offs.

In the BITS Pilani campus, there has been a cut-off marks' increment of 4 in B.E. Computer Science from 304 in 2025 to 308 in 2026. But this cut-off is still lower than 327 of 2024 and 331 of 2023.

The total maximum marks of BITSAT 2026 were 390.

The year-wise cutoff comparison shows that scores dropped significantly in 2025 after reaching higher levels in 2024. In 2026, many programmes witnessed a recovery compared to the previous year.

BITS Pilani CSE Cutoff 2026 Increases by 4 Marks

The cutoff for the B.E. Computer Science programme at BITS Pilani remains one of the highest amongst all programs. The cutoff marks in 2023 were 331, which fell to 327 in 2024 and further reduced to 304 in 2025.

The cut-off marks for 2026 increased to 308. Thus,

• 4 marks more than 2025
• 19 marks less than 2024
• 23 marks less than 2023

Thus, the cutoff marks for 2026 show an increase over 2025, but are still less than those in previous years.

BITSAT Cutoff 2026 Trend: ECE and EEE Programmes

Another such example is the B.E. Electronics and Communications.

This programme’s cut-off mark rose from 285 in 2025 to 289 in 2026. Nevertheless, it was still less than the cut-off marks in 2024, which were 314, and in 2023, which were 296.

The B.E. Electrical and Electronics programme’s cut-off mark rose from 260 in 2025 to 266 in 2026 but still was not higher than the cut-off mark of 292 in 2024.

The B.E. Electronics and Instrumentation programme’s cut-off mark also increased from 250 in 2025 to 261 in 2026 but was less than that of

BITSAT 2026 Cutoff Trends for Core Engineering Programmes

Some of the major engineering streams also witnessed an increase in cutoffs in the year 2026.

Chemical Engineering cutoff increased from 210 marks in 2025 to 226 marks in 2026. The 2026 cutoff was marginally higher than the 2023 cutoff of 224 but lower than the 2024 cutoff of 247.

Civil Engineering cutoff increased from 206 marks in 2025 to 222 marks in 2026. It was higher than the 2023 cutoff of 213 but lower than the 2024 cutoff of 238.

The Mechanical Engineering cutoff increased from 235 marks in 2025 to 239 marks in 2026. It was lower than the 2024 cutoff of 266 and also 2023 cutoff of 244.
