The notification for CAT 2024 is expected to be released soon. Based on previous years' trends, the CAT 2024 notification, including the syllabus, exam pattern, and admission process details, is likely to be issued in July. Registration is expected to commence shortly after.

IIM Calcutta is reportedly set to conduct CAT 2024, following last year's administration by IIM Lucknow. The exam is anticipated to be held on the last Sunday of November, as per reports. The official CAT 2024 website is expected to go live in July, aligning with previous years' timelines.
CAT is conducted for admission to postgraduate management programmes and doctoral programmes at the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs). Scores from CAT 2024 are also accepted by various non-IIM member institutions.
In 2023, CAT registration opened on August 2 and closed on September 20. The CAT admit card was released on November 7, and the exam took place on November 26.
Eligibility criteria for CAT include holding a bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% for SC/ST/PwD candidates). Candidates in their final year of bachelor’s degree or awaiting results are also eligible to apply.
