Candidates now have the opportunity to make corrections to their application forms for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2025. This year, CAT 2025 is being conducted by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kozhikode.

The institute has opened the CAT 2025 Correction Window to allow limited changes to the application. This correction window will remain open until October 7, 2025 (until 5 pm).

Only candidates who have successfully registered for CAT 2025 and paid the application fee can make corrections to their application forms.

🔹 Correction Window Duration and Process

The application process for CAT 2025 began on August 1st and ended on September 20th, 2025. Now, IIM Kozhikode has given candidates a limited opportunity to make necessary corrections to their application forms.

To make corrections, candidates must log in to the official website, iimcat.ac.in.

After logging in with their user ID and password, they can modify the required details by going to the "Application Form" section. After making the changes, they must "Submit" the form and download the final copy.

🔹 Which details are subject to change?

IIM Kozhikode has clarified that changes are only permitted in certain sections. These include:

Photograph (Passport Size Photo)
Signature
Test City Preferences

Other personal or academic information (such as name, date of birth, email address, or mobile number) cannot be modified. Therefore, candidates should only edit the fields that are permitted.

🔹 IIM Guwahati option now available

The biggest update in the CAT 2025 correction window is that candidates can now select IIM Guwahati in their application. IIM Guwahati is the 22nd Indian Institute of Management in the country.

Its permanent campus is being established in Palasbari, Kamrup district, Assam. Currently, it will operate from a temporary campus provided by the Assam government.

IIM Ahmedabad has been appointed as its mentor institute. Candidates can now select IIM Guwahati and its programs in the correction window.

🔹 Guidelines for Uploading Photo and Signature

Candidates must follow certain rules when uploading their photo and signature in the correction window:

The photo must be 1200 x 1200 pixels and the signature must be 80 mm x 35 mm.
Both files must be uploaded in .jpg or .jpeg format.
The file size must not exceed 80KB.
The image must be clear and have a resolution of at least 150 pixels per inch (ppi).
The photo must not be older than six months and must have a white background.

On the day of the CAT 2025 exam, candidates must use the same photo on the admit card as uploaded in the application. Therefore, candidates are advised to keep additional copies of the same photo with them.

🔹 Information regarding exam city selection

Candidates can select up to 5 exam cities in their application form. After the registration deadline, IIMs will allocate one of these cities as an exam center (based on availability). If a candidate cannot find one of their selected cities, they will be assigned the nearest available exam city.

🔹 Key Information about the CAT 2025 Exam

The CAT 2025 exam will be held on November 30, 2025, at various centers across the country. The exam will be conducted in three sessions and will last 120 minutes (2 hours).

Candidates will be evaluated in three sections:

Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC)
Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR)
Quantitative Ability (QA)

Candidates will be able to download the CAT 2025 Admit Card from the official website starting November 5, 2025.

🔹 Important Advice for Candidates

The correction window is available only once, so make all changes carefully.

If there is a mistake in any section, there will be no opportunity to edit the form again.
The website may experience increased load at the last minute, so complete the correction process well in advance.
After making the corrections, keep the downloaded copy of the application with you.
