Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kozhikode will conduct the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2025 this year. This exam is required for admission to MBA and other management programs in India's premier management institutes like IIMs.

Registrations for CAT 2025 will begin from August 1, 2025, and the exam will be held on November 30, 2025 (Sunday). The exam will be conducted in three sessions in computer-based (CBT) mode.

CAT 2025 Official Notice

Admit cards will be made available to candidates appearing for the exam from November 5, 2025. CAT 2025 results are likely to be declared in the first week of January 2026. The exam is the gateway to entry into IIMs as well as many other top B-schools, but selection is not based solely on CAT scores.

Candidates have to further undergo evaluation processes such as personal interview, group discussion and writing ability test. The selection process of each institute is different and the details are released on the respective websites.

Last year, CAT 2024 was conducted by IIM Kolkata, in which 2.93 lakh candidates appeared. These included 1.07 lakh women, 1.86 lakh men and 5 transgender candidates. A total of 14 candidates scored 100 percentile, of which 13 were from engineering background and only 1 was a non-engineer. Only 1 woman was included among the 14 toppers.
