CAT 2026 registration will end on September 22, 2026. Those candidates who have not yet filled out their application form may register for the CAT 2026 entrance exam using the official website iimcat.ac.in.

The date of CAT 2026 examination will be held on November 29, 2026. The date of release of CAT 2026 admit card will be November 4, 2026.

CAT 2026 Application Fee

The CAT 2026 application fee has been increased compared with the previous year. Candidates have to pay the applicable fee according to their category.

Candidates should complete the fee payment within the registration period. The application will be considered submitted only after the required payment and final submission are completed.

The candidates can go through the following steps to register for CAT 2026:

• Candidates need to click on the registration link of CAT 2026 present on the homepage.
• Complete the registration procedure and set up your login ID and password.
• Login and fill up the application form for CAT with all the necessary information.
• Upload all the necessary documents and provide all the academic as well as personal information.
• Pay the appropriate application fee for CAT.
• Submit the application form.
• Download the confirmation page and save it for future use.
• Print a copy of the submitted application form.

All the candidates need to make sure that there is no mistake in the application form. The mistakes in the application form can be rectified as per the instruction of the examination authority.

CAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility criteria for the CAT 2026 include having completed a graduation degree in any recognized university or institution with a minimum of 50% marks or CGPA equivalent.

For SC, ST, and PwD categories, the minimum marks requirement is 45%.
