Arrive early: Arrive at the exam center with enough time to complete all the necessary formalities before the exam starts.
Carry necessary documents: Don’t forget your CAT admit card and a government-issued photo ID proof. It’s a good idea to carry two copies of these documents for safety.
Sign admit card in presence of invigilator: Only sign your CAT admit card in front of the invigilator. Do not sign it beforehand.
Admit card photo requirement: Ensure the photo on your admit card matches the one uploaded during CAT registration.
No scrap paper: Keep your pockets clear of scrap paper. Only the CAT admit card and Photo ID proof are allowed inside the exam hall.
Return rough work pad: After completing the exam, return the writing pad used for rough work. Make sure to write your name and registration number on it.
No electronic gadgets: Electronic devices (like phones, smartwatches, etc.) are strictly prohibited in the exam hall. Do not bring them to the center.
Dress code restrictions: Clothing with pockets, metal jewelry, and heavy footwear are not allowed inside the exam hall. Stick to simple, non-metallic clothing.
No bags: Bags or any type of luggage cannot be brought inside the exam hall. Keep your required documents in a transparent folder.
Medical conditions: If you have metal implants or pacemakers, you must provide a medical certificate at the exam hall.

Metal jewellery is not permitted to be worn by candidates.
Inside the examination hall, candidates are not permitted to wear closed-toed shoes, caps, jackets, or clothing with pockets or huge buttons.
Candidates who have metal implants, pacemakers, or other devices in their bodies must submit a medical certificate for those devices.
The test lab allows socks, plain pullovers, sweaters, and cardigans (without pockets).
