CBSE 12th Result 2021: Special Exam Date Announced for Private Category Students & Dissatisfied Students

CBSE Board Special Exam 2021 will be conducted from August 16 to September 15, 2021. This examination will be held for the students who are not satisfied with their marks given by CBSE Board.

This exam was scheduled for Private Category students as the CBSE Board was not able to prepare their results. It is because of the lack of sufficient internal assessment data of private category students.

According to the official announcement of CBSE, those students who were not able to score the minimum qualifying marks or who placed in the Compartment category can appear in this special exam too.

Students of class XII and class X are allowed to improve their performance only in one subject in compartment examination in compliance with the information communicated via the CBSE letter on March 16, 2021. Better of the two marks obtained in the subject will be considered for declaration of results,” It was added in Notification

“The board is conducting examinations only in main subjects in class XII. The scheme will not be applicable for candidates who are registered for improvement of performance in one or more subjects,” added the notification.

It is noted that the marks obtained by the students in this examination will be treated as final. A portal will be made available by the board soon regarding this.

About Exam Centers

The board will conduct the compartment exam at the designated exam centers. All the centers will follow the COVID-19 protocols strictly, students will also be required to follow the guidelines strictly. To maintain the social distance a lesser number of students will be allotted to each exam center.
