CBSE Board Exams 2027: LOC Submission Schedule Released for Class 10 and 12

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the time frame for submission of the List of Candidates (LOC) for the Class 10 and Class 12 Board exams 2027. The process of submitting the LOC for candidates appearing in the 2026-27 academic year would be done online.

According to CBSE, students whose names are submitted successfully via the LOC process alone will be considered eligible to appear for the Class 10 and Class 12 Board exams.

The process of registering the candidate’s details has to be done prior to the submission of the LOC. The school’s login process can be done using their Affiliation number as their user ID. The password and the instruction have already been shared with affiliated schools.

For newly affiliated schools where no password has been received from CBSE yet, it can be obtained from the concerned CBSE regional office. The school then needs to reset their password and keep it secure.

CBSE LOC Submission 2027: Important Instructions for Schools

CBSE has also asked the schools to make sure that all the student details are verified properly before sending the LOC. The following points should be taken into account:

• All student details are accurate and complete.
• Subject codes are chosen correctly.
• The fee for taking the examination is paid in the specified timeframe.
• Data of the LOC is verified well before its submission.

It has been emphasized by the CBSE Board that choosing the right subject code is very essential as wrong subject details may cause problems while taking the examinations.

CBSE Class 10 Two Board Examination Policy 2027

As per the two Board Examination policy, the first Class 10 Board Exam will be held in February/March and will be mandatory for all students.

CBSE has advised schools to send in LOC for all the Class 10 students giving their first Board Exam.

Submission of LOC for second Class 10 Board Exam will be done after the first Board Exam is over.

CBSE LOC Submission Schedule and Fee Details 2027

CBSE has released the schedule for LOC submission and examination fee payment for Class 10 and Class 12 Board Exams 2027.

CBSE has also provided a late fee option along with the normal examination fee as per the prescribed schedule.

CBSE LOC 2027: Daily Monitoring of Submission Process

CBSE has instructed school principals to frequently check on the LOC submission procedure.

The schools need to get the daily reports from the respective teacher or official about:

• LOC submission
• Data verification of the students
• Examination fee payment

Such monitoring needs to start at least seven days prior to the last date of LOC submission.

CBSE Migration Certificate Update

As per the statement of CBSE, a hard copy of Migration Certificate would not be issued compulsorily.

Students who need the Migration Certificate may download it online after the declaration of result. A soft copy of the Migration Certificate would be provided right after the declaration of Class 12th result.

Exemption for Visually Impaired Candidates

Examination fees for visually challenged students who will be giving Class 10 and Class 12 Board Examinations have been waived.
